Kathmandu, April 20 -- Today's weather will be partly to generally cloudy in Koshi Province and the hilly regions of the country, while the rest of the country will see partly cloudy to mainly fair conditions, the Meteorological Forecasting Division said.

The current weather pattern is influenced by local winds combined with westerly winds. Due to this, light to moderate rain accompanied by thunder and lightning is likely at a few places in the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki Provinces, and at one or two places in other parts of the country.

There is also a chance of light snowfall at a few locations in the high hilly and mountainous regions.
