Kathmandu, April 14 -- The Meteorological Forecasting Division has predicted light snowfall in some mountain areas of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces on Monday.

During the day, most hilly and Terai regions across the country are likely to experience partly to generally cloudy conditions with chances of brief thundershowers at a few places. The mountainous regions in Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini are also likely to see light snowfall.

In the evening, hilly areas of Koshi and Gandaki may receive light rain accompanied by thunder and lightning. Meanwhile, the Terai region in Madhesh, Bagmati, Lumbini, and Sudurpaschim provinces is expected to remain mainly clear.
