Kathmandu, Dec. 11 -- TNA Invest Limited (TNA-I) has onboarded three major Nepali insurance companies-Shikhar Insurance, Surya Jyoti Life and Citizen Life-as new institutional shareholders as part of its plan to raise its paid-up capital to Rs1 billion.

The investment firm, which converted into a public limited company earlier this year, is the investment arm of True North Associates (TNA), a pioneer in Nepal's private equity and venture capital industry. Operating as a permanent capital vehicle, TNA-I invests in early-stage, high-potential businesses.
