BUTWAL, April 9 -- Three projects worth Rs870 million were pushed into uncertainty after the financer Asian Development Bank decided to pull funding for them. Started in 2010, the projects--solid waste processing centre, auto village infrastructure and ground water drinking project--are scheduled to be completed by December 2015 as per the agreement signed between the government and the bank.

The completion deadline was eventually set for December 2018 after it had been extended several times. According to projects officials, the bank decided to withdraw from them due to to their poor progress.
