Kathmandu, June 2 -- Thailand's Opal Suchata Chuangsri was crowned Miss World 2025 during the final event held at the HITEX Exhibition Centre in Hyderabad, India. She is the first Thai woman to win the title in the pageant's 72-year history. Ethiopia's Hasset Dereje Admassu was named first runner-up, followed by Poland's Maja Klajda and Martinique's Aurelie Joachim.
The finale began with the introduction of 108 delegates, followed by the announcement of the Top 40 quarterfinalists-ten from each continental region: Africa, the Americas and the Caribbean, Europe, and Asia and Oceania.
