Kathmandu, Feb. 3 -- Thailand defeated the Netherlands by 17 runs in the ongoing Women's T20 series in Kathmandu on Monday. The match, held at the Tribhuvan University Ground in Kirtipur, saw Thailand post a modest total of 86/10 in 19.5 overs. In response, the Netherlands fell short, managing only 69 runs before being bowled out in 15.5 overs.

Chasing a target of 87 runs, the Netherlands struggled against Thailand's disciplined bowling attack. Captain Babette de Leede top-scored for the Dutch side with 25 runs, while Iris Zwilling added 13 and Caroline de Lange contributed 10 runs.
