Kathmandu, July 23 -- Sunil Khadka, an aerospace engineering graduate from Pulchowk Campus, has set a new Guinness World Record by completing 32 clap pull-ups in one minute.
His record was officiated on Monday.
He broke the previous record of 30 reps set by America's Blake Austin in 2015.
Khadka, 25, achieved the feat under the callisthenics category and shared his accomplishment during a press meet in Kathmandu.
"It wasn't just about breaking a record-it was about showing that Nepali athletes are second to none," he said.
As per the Guinness World Record, the rules for this record state that the feet must be off the ground throughout the activity and the palms of the hands must touch for the clap pull-up to count towards the record ...
