Kathmandu, Sept. 27 -- Sukhawati Store, a social enterprise and charitable thrift store based in Banasthali, Kathmandu, concluded its annual 'Hamro Pani Dashain' initiative on Friday. The event, held at the store premises, provided essential groceries to 55 economically vulnerable families identified by donors and local ward chairpersons.

Each family received a package worth around Rs3,000, which included 25 kilograms of rice, one kilogram of salt, one kilogram of sugar, one litre of oil, and 200 grams of tea. The initiative was made possible through revenue from selling donated pre-loved clothes and goods.
