Biratnagar, Dec. 26 -- Tension flared at Manmohan Technical University in Budhiganga, Morang, on Friday after four students were suspended over allegations of harassing female students.

The situation escalated after the university administration suspended the students following complaints that some male students had teased students enrolled in polytechnic programmes. The decision led to unrest on campus on Friday morning.

According to university sources, the administration decided to bar the students from entering the college for 15 days after consulting with their guardians, citing indecent behaviour towards female students.
