Kathmandu, March 23 -- Police have arrested Yogendra Rawal, one of the six individuals convicted of attacking Prem Chalaune, a sociology teacher at Tribhuvan University. The Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) apprehended Rawal in Kirtipur and sent him to Dillibazar Prison to serve his sentence.

CIB spokesperson Sudhir Raj Shahi stated that Rawal had been sentenced to two years in prison and fined Rs20,000 by the Kathmandu District Court, a verdict later upheld by the Patan High Court. Since Rawal was a fugitive, he was arrested and sent to prison.
