Kathmandu, Jan. 30 -- Singapore Airlines (SIA) said it will operate seven weekly flights between Singapore and Kathmandu using wide-body aircraft during Nepal's spring season in March and April, expanding capacity on the route to meet higher seasonal demand.
The airline said deploying wide-body aircraft will allow it to better cater to increased passenger traffic during the spring period, which coincides with the peak trekking season in Nepal. The season typically draws tourists from around the world seeking the country's natural beauty and outdoor adventures, while also enabling Nepalis based overseas to return home to spend time with family and loved ones.
