GHORAHI, April 14 -- Nepal Police Club duo Santoo Shrestha and Nabita Shrestha claimed singles titles of the 40th National Table Tennis Championships under the eighth National Games in Ghorahi on Saturday.

The duo had also claimed the mixed doubles title on Thursday. Santoo eased past his club-mate Pradip Roka in straight sets of 11-1, 11-5, 11-6, 11-5 to give a dominating display. It was his third consecutive national men's singles title. In the women's gold medal clash, Nabita edged her sister-in-law Elina Maharjan of same team in sixth set.
