Kathmandu, Nov. 11 -- Shivnarine Chanderpaul, one of the best cricketers produced by the Caribbean, landed in Kathmandu on Monday to take charge of Janakpur Bolts, the defending champion, in the second season of the Nepal Premier League.

"I watched the series where Nepal defeated the West Indies in September," Chanderpaul said in a press meet on Monday. "An Associate team defeating the West Indies suggests that Nepal has much promise in cricket."
