Kathmandu, Jan. 15 -- The second edition of the Queer Film Festival starts today at the Airavat Picture House (Educational Hall), Thapathali. The ten-day festival will screen more than 170 films, including 23 feature-length titles and over 150 short films, with runtimes ranging from 30 to 35 minutes, centred on the narratives, themes, and creative expressions of queer communities.

According to the organisers, the festival features a wide range of films from all continents. Four Nepali films have been included in this year's programme, highlighting local storytelling alongside international works and placing Nepali queer narratives within a global cinematic context.
