Kathmandu, June 21 -- Scotland defeated Nepal by 34 runs in the final match of the Scotland T20 Tri-Series at Titwood, Glasgow, in Scotland on Friday, to secure the series title.

Opting to bat first, Scotland posted a formidable 193 for 5 in their allotted 20 overs, largely propelled by a blistering 78 off 39 balls from opener George Munsey, who was named Player of the Match. Munsey struck five fours and six sixes, setting the tone for the innings with an aggressive start. After the early dismissal of Mark Watt (9), Munsey and Brandon McMullen (42 off 30) added a 100-run partnership for the second wicket, taking Scotland to 134 in the 13th over.
