Kathmandu, Nov. 21 -- three youth groups identifying as Gen Z submitted a memorandum to the President on Thursday calling for the resignation of Prime Minister Sushila Karki.

These groups were not among the leading organisers of the September 8-9 Gen Z movement that toppled the then UML-Congress coalition government, and most are considered to have monarchist leanings. They said that the current interim government has failed to address the movement's demands.

The memorandum, submitted at the President's Office, asks the President to sack Karki's interim government and facilitate the formation of a new government.
