Nepal, Sept. 9 -- Chief district officers of the Kathmandu Valley have decided to continue with the ongoing prohibition orders for one more week, but with some ease on business and vehicular movements.

"We have decided to continue the prohibition orders for a week. But there are some relaxations on businesses and vehicular movements," said Janak Raj Dahal, chief district officer of Kathmandu. "Both private and public vehicles can operate under odd-even rules within the Valley."

Vehicles, however, won't be allowed entry into the Valley.

Kathmandu Valley has been under prohibitory orders since August 19 midnight.

With no signs of the virus slowing, calls were growing from different sections to either lift or relax the curbs.
