Kathmandu, June 21 -- The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has reshuffled its central leadership roles on the occasion of its third anniversary.
A central committee meeting held on Saturday promoted Kabindra Burlakoti to the post of general secretary, who had been playing the role of acting general secretary. The meeting also appointed Manish Jha the party's spokesperson, having previously served in an acting capacity.
The party had been operating with acting leadership after relieving its founding general secretary and spokesperson, Mukul Dhakal, of his responsibilities on June 9 last year.
He was accused of incompetence, indiscipline, indecent and chaotic conduct, and violating party rules.
