Kathmandu, Nov. 13 -- The inquiry commission investigating the incidents of September 8 and 9 has imposed a foreign travel ban on former Inspector General of Police Chandra Kuber Khapung.
In its meeting on Thursday, the commission decided that former Inspector General of Police Khapung must remain available for questioning at any time in connection with the investigation into the September 8-9 incidents.
The commission has directed the concerned authorities to immediately restrict his foreign travel and not to allow him to leave the Kathmandu Valley without prior approval, said the commission's spokesperson Bigyan Raj Sharma in a statement.
