Kathmandu, Dec. 15 -- The commission investigating the September 8-9 Gen Z protests incidents has recorded the statement of Nepali Army Chief Ashok Raj Sigdel, along with four other army officials.

Commission spokesperson Bigyan Raj Sharma said that the panel questioned Sigdel on the incidents that took place during the two-day protests as well as related matters linked to the unrest and subsequent security lapses.

He added that all five officials who appeared before the commission have completed their statements.
