Kathmandu, Jan. 18 -- Silk Group's Prince Dahal and Armed Police Force Club's Jessica Gurung lifted Yonex Sunrise 10th Pushpa Lal Memorial national ranking badminton titles on Sunday.

The 17-year-old shuttler, who leaped to third in junior badminton world ranking on Friday, overcame Armed Police Force Club's Dipesh Dhami 21-18, 21-13 in men's singles final at the Golbazar covered hall to clinch the title. Dahal was seventh in the previous ranking published by the Badminton World Federation in March last year.

In the final of the women's singles, the winner of the seventh edition, APF's Gurung saw off Nepal Army's national champion Rashila Maharjan 18-21, 21-15, 22-20 for her second Pushpa Lal title.
