Kathmandu, Oct. 25 -- Prime Minister Sushila Karki held a high-level meeting at the Prime Minister's official residence at Baluwatar on Saturday to assess the current security situation and discuss necessary measures.

Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal, Home Secretary Rameshwar Dangal, and chiefs of all four security agencies-Nepali Army, Nepal Police, Armed Police Force and the National Investigation Department-attended the meeting, which lasted for nearly two hours.

According to the prime minister's secretariat, the security chiefs presented their assessments of the situation and discussed possible security challenges.
