Kathmandu, Feb. 26 -- Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has directed concerned stakeholders to raise the issue of Mahakali Treaty with priority in the third joint meeting of experts from Nepal and India that will take place in Kathmandu on Wednesday.

Talking to Nepali officials taking part in the meeting on Tuesday, PM Oli directed the officials to float their opinions openly in the interest of the country and carry out preparations for the same.

"Our first priority is to implement the Mahakali treaty. According to the treaty, Nepal should get 10 cumecs water," Prime Minister Oli said.
