Kathmandu, Feb. 2 -- President Ramchandra Paudel reached Japan on Monday for a four-day official visit. He was received at Narita International Airport by the chief of protocol at Japan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Japanese Ambassador to Nepal Toru Maeda, and Nepal's acting ambassador to Japan Hariharkanta Paudel.
President Paudel is visiting at the invitation of the Japanese government to attend special events marking the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Nepal and Japan. On Monday, he will attend a reception organised by the Japanese government to commemorate the milestone, the president's secretariat said.
