Kathmandu, Dec. 30 -- Singer and actor Prakash Saput has been included in the Rastriya Swatantra Party's (RSP) closed proportional representation list for the House of Representatives elections. The party submitted the names of 110 candidates, including Saput, to the Election Commission on Monday.

Speaking to the Post, the 35-year-old said he has joined politics to understand parliamentary processes up close and take responsibility for national development. "As an artist, I have often raised questions about social and political issues. Now I want to go beyond questions and act directly," he said.
