Bhairahawa, April 7 -- Police are set to present Rastriya Swatantra Party Chairman Rabi Lamichhane at the Rupandehi District Court on Monday to implement a judicial custody order.

Security measures have been enhanced in Bhairahawa, with both the Nepal Police and the Armed Police Force deployed along the route to the court and in surrounding areas.

Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Suraj Karki, information officer of the District Police Office, Rupandhei, said Lamichhane would be presented in court once the written order is received from the Butwal bench of Tulsipur High Court.

Lamichhane was arrested in Kathmandu on Friday night and brought to Bhairahawa on Saturday morning.
