Dhankuta, March 1 -- Two teenage girls were rescued by the police from Gadhigaun, Chaubise Rural Municipality-3, in Dhankuta, where they had been held captive for three days. The rescue operation took place on Saturday morning, with the 14-year-olds, both from Uralbari in Morang, found locked inside a house in the area.

According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Omprakash Khanal, the girls had been held captive at the house Sanish Yakkha. "They had been confined for three days, and the police successfully rescued them," Khanal said.
