Police arrest 21 Communist Party of Nepal leaders and cadres in Dang
Dang, Oct. 17 -- Police on Thursday arrested 21 leaders of the Netra Bikram Chand-led Communist Party of Nepal from Dang.
A meeting of the party's Rapti bureau was underway in a jungle at Mugretha Khola of Rajapur Rural Municipality Ward No 4 when the police raided the area at around 1 am, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Binod Bikram Shah of the District Police Office.
Among the arrested are CPN central member and Lumbini bureau and mid-western command in-charge Chandra Bahadur Chand 'Birjung', who is also the brother of CPN general secretary Netra Bikram Chand.
