Kathmandu, Dec. 2 -- Adam Rossington smashed an unbeaten century as Pokhara Avengers posted a formidable 201-2 against Karnali Yaks in Tuesday's second match of the Nepal Premier League (NPL) at the TU Cricket International Ground in Kirtipur.
Winning the toss and bowling first, Karnali were punished by Rossington's explosive 108 not out off just 58 deliveries.
The English wicketkeeper-batter struck 11 fours and seven sixes, reaching his century in 55 balls. This is only the third century in NPL history-all belonging to overseas players.
Karnali's Scottish batter Mark Watt had scored 114 against Lumbini Lions earlier this season, while last year Pokhara's American batter Andries Gous had made 104 against Lumbini.
