Kathmandu, May 24 -- The Piplamod section of the Nagdhunga-Naubise road will be closed to vehicular traffic from 10:30 am to 3:00 pm daily for 15 days starting Saturday, due to ongoing road improvement works.

According to Keshav Prasad Ojha, chief of the eastern section of the Nagdhunga-Muglin road project, the closure will facilitate blacktopping of a 1.8-kilometre stretch of the road, which had previously been stripped of its old surface during night-time works carried out from May 5 to May 14.
