Kathmandu, Oct. 28 -- Kathmandu Art Gallery has marked a new beginning in its relocated space at Baber Mahal Revisited with 'Masters of Devotion: Paubha Art from Bhaktapur'. The exhibit currently on display is the second dedicated to traditional Paubha paintings. It features works by 22 Bhaktapur artists, celebrating the late masters who laid the foundation and the living artists who continue their sacred legacy.
Gallery Director Sangeeta Thapa reflected on the ancient Paubha tradition that dates back to the 7th century and praised the artists of Bhaktapur for carrying this spiritual and artistic lineage forward with devotion and mastery.
