Kathmandu, Jan. 20 -- The Parsa District Court on Tuesday ordered Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) chairman Rabi Lamichhane to deposit bail of Rs10 million in connection with a cooperative fund embezzlement case.

A single bench of judge Rudra Subedi issued the order after concluding the detention hearing in the case related to the alleged misappropriation of funds belonging to the Birgunj-based Sano Paila Savings and Credit Cooperative.

Lamichhane appeared before the Parsa District Court on Tuesday, travelling directly from Janakpur.
