Kathmandu, Dec. 12 -- formed committee tasked with assessing the damage caused during the Gen-Z movement and preparing a plan for the reconstruction of public infrastructure has submitted its report to Prime Minister Sushila Karki on Thursday.

The committee's coordinator, Rabilal Pantha, who also serves as secretary of the National Planning Commission, presented a summary of the report to the Cabinet meeting held at Singha Durbar today. The committee was formed on September 21 following a Cabinet decision.

According to the report, the committee completed its work within 75 days. It found that all seven provinces recorded damage during the movement, affecting 54 districts and 262 local units.
