Makwanpur, March 3 -- A man died after a truck collided with his motorcycle in Manahari, Makwanpur, on Monday morning.
The collision took place on the East-West Highway at Manahari Pul, where a truck travelling from Chitwan to Hetaunda crashed into a motorcycle. The pillion rider, 56-year-old Nimbahadur Thapa from Pithuwa, Ratnanagar Municipality-16 of Chitwan, sustained severe head injuries and was rushed to Manahari Hospital. Despite efforts to save him, he was declared dead by the attending doctors, police said.
The motorcycle driver, 55-year-old Ramji Gautam, also from Chitwan, was injured in the accident, suffering injuries to his leg. His condition is reportedly stable, and he has been referred to Bharatpur, Chitwan for further tr...
