Hetauda, April 7 -- year-old man was killed in a road accident in Makwanpur after being hit by a bus on Monday morning.

The incident occurred at the Khuranga section of the East-West Highway in ward 9 of Manahari Municipality, where Jit Bahadur Pradhan, a resident of ward 9 of Triyuga Municipality, Udaypur, was struck.

Pradhan, who had stopped his vehicle while travelling from Kathmandu to Janakpur, attempted to cross the road to use a nearby toilet when a bus coming from the opposite direction hit him. He was rushed to Hetauda Hospital, where he was declared dead.
