Nepal, March 13 -- One person was killed after a minivan and a motorcycle collided on the Koshi Highway in Garjuwa of Dhankuta district. Two others have been injured.

The incident occurred after the vehicle, travelling to Mulghat from Bhedetar, collided with the two-wheeler on the Dharan-Dhankuta section of the Highway on Tuesday evening.

Twenty-five-year-old Dibash Tamang, who was riding pillion on the motorcycle, had sustained serious injuries in the accident. He died in the course of treatment at the BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences, Dharan, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Raj Babu Maharjan.
