Myagdi, Jan. 26 -- year-old man, Thamabahadur Roka from Mangala Rural Municipality-6, has died in a road accident at Chutreti in Beni Municipality-6. The accident occurred when the motorbike Roka was riding collided with a truck.

Prem Shahi, a resident of Mangalghat in Beni Municipality-7, who was riding pillion, was severely injured in the crash.

Locals reported that both individuals were initially taken to Beni Hospital for treatment. However, due to a lack of sufficient facilities, they were transferred to Pokhara later that night. Unfortunately, Roka succumbed to his injuries at a medical college in Pokhara, while Shahi is still receiving treatment at Manipal Teaching Hospital.
