Kathmandu, Jan. 20 -- Nominations for the first-past-the-post seats in the House of Representatives are being filed across the country on Tuesday for the elections scheduled for March 5.
The Election Commission said it has completed preparations by setting up election offices in all 165 constituencies. It has urged political parties and candidates to avoid showmanship and approach the offices calmly and with dignity.
To reduce crowding and ease the process, the commission has assigned time slots to major parties and candidates.
