Kathmandu, Nov. 15 -- Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has increased fuel prices, raising the price of petrol by Rs2 per litre and diesel and kerosene by Rs3 per litre, effective from Saturday midnight.
Following the revision, petrol will now cost Rs161 per litre and diesel and kerosene Rs147 per litre in Category C areas, which include Kathmandu, Pokhara, and Dipayal.
In Category B areas, including Surkhet and Dang, petrol will be priced at Rs160 per litre and diesel and kerosene at Rs146 per litre. Likewise, in Category A areas-Charali, Biratnagar, Janakpur, Amlekhgunj, Bhalbari, Nepalgunj, Dhangadhi, and Birgunj-petrol will cost Rs158.50 and diesel and kerosene Rs144.50 per litre.
