Kathmandu, Jan. 31 -- Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has increased the prices of diesel and kerosene by Rs3 per litre, while reducing the prices of aviation fuel, effective from Saturday midnight.

Following the adjustment, diesel and kerosene have been fixed at Rs136.50 per litre in Category A areas, Rs138 per litre in Category B areas and Rs139 per litre in Category C areas.

"Category A depots include Charali, Biratnagar, Janakpur, Amlekhgunj, Bhalbari, Nepalgunj and Dhangadhi. Surkhet and Dang fall under Category B, while Kathmandu, Pokhara and Dipayal have been classified as Category C," the NOC said in a statement on Saturday, "The revised retail prices will apply within a 15-kilometre radius of the respective depots."
