Kathmandu, July 6 -- The Nepal Institute for International Cooperation and Engagement (NIICE) is set to organise a high-level seminar titled "Terrorism in South Asia: Challenges to regional peace and security" in Kathmandu, on July 9.

The event aims to foster dialogue on the evolving threat of terrorism in South Asia and its impact on peace, cooperation, and stability.

Key issues include transnational terrorism, state-sponsored threats, and Nepal's role in regional counter-terrorism efforts.

Speakers will include political leaders, top diplomats, academics, and security experts including Minendra Rijal, NP Saud, Chanda Chaudhary, Shisir Khanal, Prof Meena Vaidya Malla, and Maj Gen Binoj Basnyat (Retd), among others.
