Kathmandu, Feb. 11 -- The Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) index recorded a marginal decline on Tuesday, slipping 0.04 points to close at 2,662.09. This is the continuation of the decline on the fourth consecutive day.
A total of 22,282,050 shares of 329 companies were traded through 82,450 transactions, generating a turnover of Rs 8.69 billion, according to the Nepal Stock Exchange.
Out of the traded companies, share prices of 113 advanced, while 133 declined. The prices of 13 companies remained unchanged.
Ridi Power Company Limited emerged as the top gainer of the day, with its share price rising by 9.67 percent. In contrast, Super Mai Hydropower Limited recorded the highest loss, with its share price falling by 6.39 percent.
