Kathmandu, Nov. 10 -- The Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) index slipped by 4.15 points on Monday, recording a mild decline of 0.16 percent to settle at 2,561.94 points. The market showed slight correction following Sunday's sharp 30.02-point drop.

According to Nepse, a total of 8.65 million shares worth Rs4.51 billion were traded in 40,591 transactions. Of the companies traded, share prices of 91 increased, 151 declined, and 11 remained unchanged.

Among the 13 trading subgroups, all except hotels and tourism, trading, and investment ended lower. The hotels and tourism index rose by 101.98 points and trading by 21.17 points, while losses were recorded in life insurance, non-life insurance, and manufacturing and processing sectors.
