Kathmandu, July 29 -- The Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) Index rose by 30.76 points on Tuesday, closing at 3,002.07. This marks a 1.03 percent increase, reversing Sunday's fall of 18.44 points and building on Monday's modest 7-point gain.
Investor confidence appeared to rebound, with 76 companies seeing gains in their share prices, while 74 recorded losses. The trading day saw heightened activity, with 41.80 million shares changing hands over 157,525 transactions, resulting in a total turnover of Rs18.53 billion.
