Kathmandu, June 7 -- The Embassy of Nepal in Kuwait, concurrently accredited to Iraq, has conducted a four-day passport camp in Jaduyah, Baghdad.
The camp facilitated the renewal of passports for 47 Nepali nationals and issued travel permits to those with expired passports seeking to return to Nepal.
The embassy dispatched First Secretary Premraj Gautam and Third Secretary Navin Parajuli to oversee the camp operations.
Organised in coordination with the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) Iraq, the initiative aimed to assist Nepalis facing documentation issues in Iraq.
NRNA Iraq extended gratitude to Foreign Minister Arzu Rana Deuba and Ambassador Ghanshyam Lamsal for sending the embassy team to support the passport camp.
