Kathmandu, April 15 -- The Nepali Congress has called a meeting of its Central Working Committee for April 30 to discuss current political issues. According to Krishna Prasad Paudel, the party's chief secretary at the central office, the meeting will be held at 1 pm and will include office bearers, committee members, and invited members.
The decision to convene the meeting comes amid increasing internal criticism of the party's role in the KP Sharma Oli-led government. Several senior leaders-including party president Sher Bahadur Deuba's rival Shekhar Koirala, along with general secretaries Gagan Thapa and Bishwa Prakash Sharma-have been vocal about the government's poor performance.
