Kathmandu, June 13 -- Revealing its calendar for 2025 in March, the Cricket Association of Nepal had announced it would organise a T20I series against a Full Member nation in the UAE in September. That plan is now confirmed.
Nepal will take on two-time T20 World Cup champions West Indies in a historic three-match T20I series in the United Arab Emirates this September. The announcement, jointly made by the cricket boards of Nepal and the West Indies on Thursday, has had fans waiting with bated breath.
"This landmark series marks a pivotal moment in Nepal's cricketing journey as the team faces the ICC Cricket World Cup champions West Indies for the first time in a bilateral T20I series," CAN said in a statement.
