Kathmandu, July 31 -- Nepal will host the ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2026 Global Qualifier from January 12 to February 2, 2026, the International Cricket Council (ICC) announced on Thursday.

The 21-day global qualifier will feature 10 teams competing across two venues-Lower Stadium and Upper Stadium-in Mulpani.

Of the 10 teams, five have already been confirmed. Bangladesh and Scotland qualified based on their performances in the 2024 edition of the Women's T20 World Cup, which was won by New Zealand in Dubai.

The United States secured their place in the global qualifier by winning the Americas Qualifier, hosted by Argentina in March this year.
