Kathmandu, Nov. 14 -- Nepal suffered their second successive defeat on Wednesday at the ongoing Under-19 One Day Challengers Trophy in Hyderabad, as India's 'A' side thrashed Nepal by 107 runs. The defeat has reduced Nepal's aspirations to progress to the tournament decider in the four-team contest.

After winning the toss, Nepal chose to bowl at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium. India 'A' amassed 248 on the board in 48.2 overs. Nepal exhibited a lacklustre performance with the bat and were bundled out for 140-9 in their 50 overs.

Teen prodigy Bishal Bikram KC (71), also the skipper of the Under-16 side, was the only batsman to stand out who contributed more than half of the total runs Nepal could score.
