New Delhi, Nov. 22 -- Nepal sent a diplomatic note through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to India on Thursday, expressing disagreement with the new political map of India that includes the disputed territory of Kalapani within its borders.

Nilambar Acharya, the ambassador of Nepal to India, confirmed the formal correspondence made by Nepal to India but did not reveal the content of the note.

Sources, however, said that the note expresses Nepal's discontent with the 'inaccurate' political map issued by India on November 2 and asks the Indian government to correct it.
